French cooking class
A very special experience with Samira Hradsky, an international
culinary personality, who will take you to a wonderful, neighborhood
market that is a ten minute walk from her apartment, where you will
select some of the items you will use in your cooking class, and
then instruct you in English on the details of French cuisine.
While
primarily self-taught, Samira has attended classes at the Cordon
Bleu, as well as other culinary schools. Now, having returned to
Paris, her primary focus is, of course, on French cuisine, although
she still continues to offer classes in other specialties as well.
In this cooking class with chef Samira Hradsky, participants will
have the opportunity to understand and appreciate France's regional
flavors.
This class is organized around the different tastes found
in France's thirteen regions. Samira will provide a brief description
of each of these thirteen regions from north to south, and names
of dishes, in both English and French for which each region is famous.
Making a perfect sauce is of great importance to the French. They
believe that it is the sauce that makes the meal. There is a saying
in France that says "tout est dans la sauce", meaning that everything
is in the sauce. Samira will share with clients her secrets for
making the perfect sauce.

wine tasting of France, conducted in the wine cave of their building.
